What is our role in todays society? What is our obligation? How are we treated? How are we viewed?

Robert E. Mankowski, Jr. is a talented artist whose versatility allows him to work in many different media. He graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, with a BFA in illustration. He has shown his paintings in various galleries and museums throughout the New York tri-state area, and his painting "Rune" was published in the book "Spectrum 11 - The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art." A tattoo enthusiast for many years, Robert always wanted to learn the art of tattoo. He decided that tattoo was his calling. He works at "Permanent Buzz Tattoo" in Denville, NJ - where he brings his fine art background to the tattoo community and loves every minute of it.

Hayley Maged is a feminist artist who also graduated from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Her paintings have been shown at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, as well as many other galleries and museums in the New York tri-state area. She is also a dancer and a member of The Dresden Dolls Punk Cabaret, known as The Dirty Business Brigade. She is currently working with the Dresden Dolls on an art project called "Post War Trade," and a series of paintings entitled "Bad Habit." Hayley is a tattoo enthusiast as well, and is catching up to her husband Robert with 6 tattoos and a 7th in the works. She considers herself a "walking canvas" of sorts.

phone interview with Rev. Dr. Kendra Vaughan Hovey

Reverend Dr. Kendra Vaughan Hovey is the founding Elder High Priestess and Metaphysician of the First Church of Wicca. Starting as a Solitary Practitioner at the age of 11, she joined an Eclectic Coven while attaining her first college degree in Rhode Island. She was Initiated and Ordained by the Dark Forest Coven in 1989. She branched off from the mother hive and led a new coven for several years until her career forced her to leave the group. From there, she continued to practice Solitary Wicca while studying at the University of Metaphysics, and has since obtained her Doctorate in Ministry, specializing in Pastoral Counseling. She is currently studying for her PH.D. in Holistic Ministry at the American Institute of Holistic Theology. Reverend Dr. Kendra is an Ordained Metaphysical Minister with the International Metaphysical Ministry and an Ordained Elder High Priestess with the First Church of Wicca. She is also a member of the American Metaphysical Doctor's Association. Reverend Dr. Kendra has practiced Wicca and Metaphysics, working as a spiritual leader promoting healing of the mind, soul, and body for over 15 years. She is able to legally perform all Ministerial and High Priestess duties.
